Karin Steinbach, BA, 200RYT, has been a spare room workout warrior for over 25 years! A quest to expand her education background led her to the 200 Hour Teacher Training Program at Prairie Yoga. She received her certification in 2016 and immediately began teaching fundamental yoga classes at her local community studio. Additionally, she continues to mentor teacher trainees in Prairie Yoga's 200 hour program. Karin believes yoga is an introspective physical and emotional unveiling…a “yoga practice” not a “yoga-got-it done”! With a smile on her face, she welcomes everybody to the mat and encourages mobility, mindfulness and joy.

Yoga Basics 1
Learn the basics of yoga with an emphasis on healthy, safe alignment in the fundamental yoga postures. The class will focus on:
- increasing flexibility and strength
- improving your posture and ability to balance
- focusing and calming your mind
- moving with the breath
This class is appropriate for beginners, as well as more experienced students who want a good, solid foundation in yoga basics. No experience necessary!
