Rebecca Stiles

Rebecca Stiles, 200 CYT has been practicing yoga since 2006. After leaving her job as a Registered Dietitian in 2011 to spend more time with her two sons, she delved deeper into her yoga practice and eventually found Prairie Yoga and completed her 200 hour certification. Rebecca is now an assistant teacher in Prairie’s 200 hour yoga teacher training where she enjoys being able to support and mentor trainees on their journey to become yoga teachers. She believes the practice of yoga is first and foremost a lot of fun, and also provides the opportunity for self-discovery and self-acceptance. She is currently continuing her studies in Prairie's 500 hour program.

Lynda Carr

Lynda Carr, BA, 500 CYT, worked as a software engineer for nearly twenty years, and is now experiencing her second childhood following her passion– YOGA! She has practiced yoga since 1997 and has taught yoga since 2002. Lynda received both her 200-hour and 500-hour advanced yoga certifications through Prairie Yoga. Her lighthearted teaching approach combines an alignment-based practice with a mindful focus on exerting just the right amount of effort. Lynda has taught senior fitness classes for over 17 years, has practiced Tai Chi since 1998, and holds a fourthdegree black belt in Seisan Ryu Karate.

Karin Steinbach

Karin Steinbach, BA, 200RYT, has been a spare room workout warrior for over 25 years! A quest to expand her education background led her to the 200 Hour Teacher Training Program at Prairie Yoga. She received her certification in 2016 and immediately began teaching fundamental yoga classes at her local community studio. Additionally, she continues to mentor teacher trainees in Prairie Yoga's 200 hour program. Karin believes yoga is an introspective physical and emotional unveiling…a “yoga practice” not a “yoga-got-it done”! With a smile on her face, she welcomes everybody to the mat and encourages mobility, mindfulness and joy.
Learn the basics of yoga with an emphasis on healthy, safe alignment in the fundamental yoga postures. The class will focus on:
  • increasing flexibility and strength 
  • improving your posture and ability to balance
  • focusing and calming your mind
  • moving with the breath
This class is appropriate for beginners, as well as more experienced students who want a good, solid foundation in yoga basics. No experience necessary!
