Yoga for Strength and Stability
This playful workshop is for healthy, experienced yoga practitioners who want to focus on building strength and stability in their yoga practice. We break out of the yoga mat rectangle with multi-directional natural movement and experimentation with props. We target strengthening the hips, feet, ankles, core and shoulders. We play with ground movement, crawling, balance and dynamic movement. We absorb what we learned through natural movement and integrate it into yoga asana. Includes yoga philosophy, breath awareness and deep relaxation. This workshop is highly recommended for open-minded students and yoga teachers who have been practicing traditional yoga for a long time seeking to expand their practice.
This class is NOT suitable for those with injuries.
